Booking Conditions set out the terms that you contract with us, Daytrips.is / TA SPORT Travel ehf. All information contained in the brochure and website www.daytrips.is is to the best of our knowledge or credible, just upon publication. We will advise you of any changes that are important to an agreement or that we believe will affect your enjoyment of the service. Please advise us if there is any need, that you think is important for a service so that we can give you the latest information when booking. In these booking conditions, "you" and means "to" all persons named on the booking (including anyone who is added or replaced later). "We", "us" and "our" refers to, Daytrips.is / TA SPORT Travel ehf. Unless otherwise stated, this book conditions only apply to services arrangements you book with us in Iceland and we agree to make, provide or perform (as applicable) as part of our contract with you. All references in these booking conditions "service", "book", "compact" or "arrangement" means services such arrangements unless otherwise noted.
You must fill out and sign the online through www.daytrips.is In any event bookings we require payment in full. Anyone who makes a booking takes responsibility for the party, especially to pay for all individuals to booking. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. If a reservation is made through a travel agent any money paid by you on your travel agent is held by us. The deal is when we take bookings and send you written confirmation of our account. If we can not accept the protocol, any money paid will be promptly refunded.
Final due out in these booking conditions, as appropriate, at your service. If you do not pay the full cost within the time specified we could treat service as stopped with you but the cancellation charges shown in clause 4th will apply. Payment by Credit Card: We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. Payments made using these cards will incur an additional fee of 1.55%. We also accept payments by debit card or check, no place is charged.
Our cancellation policy follows the industry standard and standard Icelandic Travel Industry Association. If you fail to pay the entire cost of the service within the specified time or stop services that you will be liable to pay the losses that we've fallen into a service plan up to the point that you said, or in the case of failure to pay on the day that we believe bookings have been canceled. If you wish to cancel the booking after it has been approved, you must send a written notice signed by the person who made the booking. You must pay the cancellation fees are calculated according to the date on which we receive written notice of termination or the date of termination is treated as arising out of defaults. We reserve the right to apply the following cancellation fees based on a percentage of the total cost of services as per our bills without those items mentioned here.
- More than 60 days: Deposit
- 60-22 days: 50% of the cost of services
- 21-15 days: 75% of the cost of services
- 14-8 days: 90% of the cost of services
- 7-0 days: 100% of the cost of services
- 7 days: Full refund cost of service
- 3-4 days: 50% of the cost of services
- 2 days before departure: 100% of the cost of services
We start planning the services we offer many months in advance. Sometimes, and our security, AT Iceland Tours reserves the right to change or modify trips on weather and snow conditions. Services to remote and in some cases, carry underdeveloped parts of Iceland stopped the Services may be subject to changes beyond our control, sometimes at short notice. While we always endeavor to avoid changes
and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so.
Most changes are minor. Minor changes are changes in transport, departure or pickup location changes less than 12 hours. Sometimes we have to make significant changes. If we have to make a significant change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible. If it is time to do so before departure, we will offer you a choice of the following options: (a) approve the new arrangement, or (b) to purchase other services from us, of a similar standard to that originally booked if available . If the cost of this alternative is less than initially your service, we will refund the price difference. If you do not want to accept the services we offer especially you, you can choose any one of them offered our services. You must pay the appropriate price of such services, or (c) cancel or accept the resignation, in which case you will receive a full and quick refund of all the food you have paid us. If we have to make significant changes to your service or cancel at least, where compensation is due and appropriate, pay you the compensation set forth herein, subject to the following exceptions. Compensation will not be payable and no liability beyond offering the above mentioned choices can be accepted as
(1) we are forced to make changes or cancel due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have avoided even with full care or
(2) We need to cancel because the minimum number of bookings necessary for us to operate the service has not been reached (see above). No compensation will be payable and the above will not be available if we cancel due to your failure to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel (such as not taking payment on time) or where the change is slight.
Very rarely, we may be forced by "circumstances beyond our control" (see section 6) to modify or terminate your services after departure but before the scheduled end time away. This is extremely unlikely but if this situation does occur, we regret we will be unable to make any refunds (unless we get this from our suppliers, pay you any compensation or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, we regret we can not accept responsibility and pay compensation where the performance of our obligations under our contract with you is prevented or affected or you otherwise any damage, loss or expenses of any kind due to "force majeure us. This booking conditions, circumstances beyond our control" means an event which we or the supplier of the service (s) to be unable, even with full caution, consider or avoid. Such events may include actual or threatened war, protests civil strife, terrorist activity and its consequences (including suspected terrorist activity and all actions taken during any "terrorist alert"), labor disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control. This list is not exhaustive.
Refunds will be processed in the form of payment used at the time of booking. This will make the payment to the person who made the original payment. The time that the refund will depend on the form of payment. We will endeavor to repay all your credit payments when approved within 48 hours.
We can not be held liable or responsible for any aspect of the service, which are considered "own arrangements" and are not included in our service. We recommend that adequate and appropriate insurance is obtained.
Changes to your booking in our discretion and will be communicated in writing by the person who signed the booking form the administration fee of 5000 kr. person (Max every time:. 10,000 kr) in addition to any additional bookings as a result of the change. Additional fees are charged for the cost and effort caused us the requested change. If you are unable to travel on good and unavoidable, we can transfer bookings to another person suggested that, provided the request for such a transfer is
at least 30 days prior to departure and accompanied by written proof of the reason for being unable to travel (such as a medical certificate) and all original travel documents you may have received and the full name and address of the transferee. Assignee must fulfill all the conditions applicable to services, and all the costs of the original booking
and the transfer must be paid before the transfer can take place. The cost of the transfer will consist of both administration charge of 5000 kr. and all the costs that our suppliers provide.
We work hard to ensure that service arrangements we have agreed to provide as part of our contract with you are provided with reasonable skill and care. We will monitor and manage the performance of our suppliers and judge their performance against standards. Subject to these booking conditions, we will accept responsibility if, for example you are death or personal injury or your contracted service arrangements are not provided as promised or prove deficient due to failure of ourselves, our employees, agents or suppliers to the proper skill and care in making, performing or providing, as applicable, your service contract arrangements. Please note, it is your responsibility to show that reasonable skill and care has not been used if you wish to make a claim against us. In addition, we will only be responsible for what our employees, agents and suppliers do or do not do if they were at the time working on their work (for employees) or the implementation of the work we had asked them to do (for agents and suppliers). We will not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss (for example loss of enjoyment), damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description whatsoever, arising from any of the following:
a) the act (s) and / or omission (s) of person (s) affected or member (s) of their party or b) the act (s) and / or omission (s) of a third party not "force majeure our related services and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable or c) as defined in paragraph 6 above, please note that we can not accept responsibility for services that are not part of our agreement. This includes, for example, any additional services or facilities which your hotel or any other supplier agrees to provide for you where the facilities are not advertised by us and we have not agreed to arrange them as part of our contract. Besides, we can not accept any responsibility for damages, losses, costs, or other sum (s) of any description (1) which on the basis of the information given to us by you booking for accepting it, we could not have foreseen that would suffer or incur if we violate our contract with you or (2) which do not result from any breach of contract or other defects with us or our employees or, where we are responsible for them, our suppliers, or (3) comes from the use of our services for special projects or research if, in connection with the investigation, work or otherwise, or (4) is associated with the company.
If delays due to weather disrupt your itinerary, you can drop the extra cost that would be the responsibility of you, the customer.
It is a condition of booking with us that you have adequate travel insurance that meets or exceeds the protection offered by the policy in our brochure or on our website.
We will store and use personal information supplied by you as part of an image of the Protocol with respect to the fulfillment of the contract between us.
We will never share information with third parties, other than to resolve the contract between us, without written permission unless we are legally obliged to do so in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We will also use the information to keep you informed about our services and special offers or offers that we believe may be of interest to you. Please inform us at the time of booking if you do not want us to use information in such a manner.
Should any dispute, it will be up in Iceland, according to local law.
