A guided day trip from Reykjavík to Borgarfjörður, area in West Iceland. This is a must-see destination during your visit. This tour features breathtaking natural wonders and historic sites.
Tour Highlights:
- Deildartunguhver: The largest hot spring in Europe, with a flow rate of 180 liters per second at 97°C. Used to heat nearby towns like Borgarnes and Akranes.
- Reykholtskirkja: A historic church built in 1885-1987. Reykholt is one of the most historical place in Iceland where you can learn about Snorri Sturluson, Iceland´s greatest Saga writer and an important person in Icelandic and Nordic cultural history.
- Hraunfossar Waterfalls: Take a look at these at these stunning waterfalls set against a backdrop of ancient lava fields.
- Langjökull Glacier: Enjoy scenic views of Europe’s second-largest glacier.

- Krauma Geothermal bath: ISK 7,000 per adult (16+), ISK 3,500 for youth (13-16), ISK 500 for children (0-12).
Tour Details
- Morning Departure: Pick-up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Reykjavík or within 50 km of the capital.
- Afternoon Departure: Pick-up at 12:00 PM from your hotel. This tour includes the potential for an Aurora Borealis display from September to March (included in the tour price).
- Lunch: There will be a stop around noon where you can purchase lunch.
- Vehicle Options: Jeep 4x4, Minivan, or Minibus with a local and English-speaking guide.
