Day 1:
Your adventure begins as you depart Reykjavík, traveling along the picturesque Route 1 through Borgarfjörður, known for its coastal and agricultural landscapes. The first stop is Borgarnes, a charming village on a rocky peninsula. From there, we venture deeper into Borgarfjörður, visiting Deildartunguhver, the most powerful hot spring in Europe. Day 2:
Our journey continues through Blönduós, heading over the heath into the historic agricultural area of Skagafjörður. Here, we explore Glaumbær, a well-preserved turf house museum, before driving approximately one hour to Akureyri, the vibrant capital of the North. Known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning surroundings, Akureyri offers ample opportunities to explore. After lunch and a leisurely stop, we visit the spectacular Goðafoss waterfall. The day concludes with visits to Lake Mývatn, Leirböðin Nature Baths, the Námaskarð geothermal area, Leirhnjúkur crater, and the Dimmuborgir lava field. We arrive at our hotel in Mývatn around 17:00, where we will have dinner and unwind.

Day 3:
We begin the day with a visit to the town of Húsavík, where we explore the whale museum and embark on a two-hour whale-watching excursion. The journey continues to the breathtaking Ásbyrgi canyon, where we will have lunch. Our afternoon is spent visiting Dettifoss, one of Europe’s most powerful waterfalls, followed by a scenic drive past Herðubreið, known as the "Queen of Icelandic Mountains." We conclude the day in Möðrudalur, the highest inhabited farm in Iceland, arriving at our hotel around 17:00 for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4:
Today’s route takes us through the highlands and into the valley of Egilsstaðir, the capital of East Iceland. We visit Fljótsdalur and Skriðuklaustur, followed by lunch. The afternoon includes a visit to Hengifoss waterfall and Hallormstaðarskógur, Iceland’s largest forest. We then journey through the stunning East Fjords, stopping in the picturesque fishing village of Stöðvarfjörður to visit the stone museum. We continue to Djúpivogur, another charming fishing village, arriving at our hotel around 17:00 for dinner and an evening of leisure.

Day 5:
We travel south along the East Fjords, renowned for their rich birdlife. The scenic route includes views of Vestrahorn mountain and the seaside, a popular spot for photography. We visit the town of Höfn in Hornafjörður, known for its spectacular glaciers and surrounding landscape. The highlight of the day is a visit to Jökulsárlón, a glacial lagoon filled with icebergs. Day 6:
Our day begins with views of Öræfajökull, Iceland's highest mountain. As we continue, we pass glacial rivers, black sand beaches, and striking lava fields. We visit Kirkjubæjarklaustur, a rural village with a rich history, and explore the aftermath of the Laki volcanic eruption. The journey proceeds to Vík, famous for its black sand beaches and dramatic cliffs. After lunch, we visit Reynisfjara beach, Dyrhólaey sea cliffs, and the Skógarfoss waterfall, concluding the day at our hotel in Skógarfoss around 17:00.

Day 7:
On the final day, we explore the area surrounding the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, visiting Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfrabúi waterfalls, both unique in their beauty. The tour continues through the rural villages of Hvolsvöllur and Hella, with stops at Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir hot springs. On our way back to Reykjavík, we visit the Secret Lagoon, a hidden gem among Iceland’s natural hot springs.
